It features premium construction and components to give you an exceptional musical experience. This model also comes with a pickup system making it perfect for any playing setting.
The Tacoma Thunderchief is built with a resonant body composed of a solid Sitka spruce top paired with figured maple back and sides with tortoise-style binding and lush cherry stain finish. It has a unique sound-hole that gives you a range of distinct tones with excellent projection. It's mahogany neck has a 34" scale and comfortable profile with a satin finish and an ebony fingerboard.
This Thunderchief comes equipped with a Fishman Prefix Plus preamp and ribbon transducer. This pickup system gives you simple intuitive controls with Treble, Bass, Volume, and a Notch filter to dial out certain frequencies.
Very few acoustic basses have a truly strong bottom end - that's where the Thunderchief lives up to its name. This trusty acoustic-electric bass is in great condition and comes with its original hardshell case. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly, and it's ready to go.
